Instructions
    Prepare the Couscous
  1. Boil Broth:

In a pot, bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a boil.

  2. Season and Cook Couscous:

In a separate bowl, combine couscous, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Pour the boiling broth over the couscous, cover with a lid, and let it sit for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork.

  3. Cook the Lardons and Vegetables
  4. Cook Lardons:

In a large skillet, cook the lardons until they are crispy and golden brown. Remove excess fat if needed.

  5. Sauté Vegetables:

In the same skillet, sauté the chopped onion until translucent. Add carrots, bell pepper, zucchini, and minced garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender.

  6. Combine:

Mix the cooked lardons and sautéed vegetables with the fluffed couscous. Ensure an even distribution of ingredients.

  7. Garnish and Serve
  8. Freshen Up:

Sprinkle fresh chopped parsley over the couscous for a burst of color and flavor.

  9. Plate:

Spoon the lardon-infused couscous onto plates, creating a visually appealing mound.

  10. Lemon Wedges:

Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a zesty touch.
