Ingredients
    For the Pastry Twists:
  • puff pastry (1 sheeet, thawed)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup crushed nuts (walnuts, pecans, or almonds)
  • For Topping:
  • Fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • For Glaze:
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon warm water
Instructions
  1. Step 1: Prepare Pastry Twists

1- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2- Unfold the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface.

3- Drizzle honey over the entire surface of the pastry.

4- Sprinkle crushed nuts evenly over the honey.

5- Gently press the nuts into the pastry with a rolling pin.

6- Slice the pastry sheet into strips, about 1 inch wide.

7- Twist each strip and place it on the prepared baking sheet.

  2. Step 2: Bake the Twists

1- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.

2- Remove from the oven and allow the twists to cool on a wire rack.

  3. Step 3: Prepare the Glaze

In a small bowl, mix honey and warm water to create a thin glaze.

  4. Step 4: Glaze the Pastry Twists

Using a pastry brush, lightly brush the honey glaze over the cooled pastry twists.

  5. Step 5: Arrange the Breakfast Tray

1- Place the golden-brown twists on a rustic wooden breakfast tray.

2- Artfully arrange sliced strawberries around the twists.

  6. Step 6: Serve with Hope

1- Serve the "Huntington's Hope Breakfast Twist" as a symbol of support and awareness.
