Ingredients
    For Crispy Chicken:
  • 1.5 pound chicken thighs (boneless, skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
  • vegetable oil (for frying)
  • For General Tso's Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • For Garnish:
  • green onions (sliced)
  • sesame seeds
Instructions
  1. Step 1: Crispy Chicken

    1- In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until fully coated.

    2- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry chicken until golden brown and crispy. Set aside.

     
  2. Step 2: General Tso's Sauce

    1- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, honey, cornstarch, and sesame oil.

    2- Heat the sauce in a pan until thickened.

     
  3. Step 3: Combine and Glaze

    Toss the crispy chicken in the General Tso's sauce until evenly coated.

     
  4. Step 4: Garnish and Serve

    1- Plate the General Tso's Chicken and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

    2- Serve hot over steamed jasmine rice.
