Description

The Empowerment Stir-Fry Symphony is a vibrant and nutritious main course that pays homage to strength, resilience, and diversity. Packed with colorful vegetables, protein-rich tofu, and a flavorful sauce, it's a celebration of unity and support for the cause.

 
Ingredients
  • 1 extra-firm tofu (block, pressed and cubed)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, (sliced)
  • 1 carrot julienned
  • 1 cup snap peas, (trimmed)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (grated)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
  1. In a wok or large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add garlic and ginger. Sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add broccoli, bell peppers, carrot, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender yet crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the vegetables.
  6. Add the cooked tofu back to the pan and toss until well-coated in the sauce.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
